A legendary name returns — this time at sea
The Orient Express name has carried travelers across continents by rail and welcomed them into grand hotels for more than a century. In 2026 it took to the water. The Orient Express Corinthian was formally named on April 29, 2026 in Saint-Nazaire, France, and began its inaugural voyages that May — billed as the world's largest sailing yacht.

Accommodations
The Corinthian carries just 110 guests across 54 luxury suites — an unusually generous ratio of space to passengers for a vessel of its size. The interiors are the work of designer Maxime d'Angeac, the architect behind Orient Express's contemporary revival, with suites that open onto the sea and living spaces conceived for long, slow days aboard.

Dining
Dining aboard spans multiple restaurants and bars, with a culinary program that includes a venue from celebrated chef Yannick Alléno. Whether a long lunch as the coast slips by or a late table after a day ashore, the food is built around where the yacht happens to be.

Wellness & life aboard
Beyond the table, the Corinthian offers a Guerlain Spa, a fitness centre, and a series of bars and lounges — from a poolside bar to a speakeasy — each designed around the yacht's small guest count. The result is a vessel that feels less like a cruise ship and more like a private estate at sea.

Where the Corinthian sails
The yacht's seasons span four regions: the Mediterranean (the Adriatic, the Greek Isles, and the Rivieras), the Caribbean (the British Virgin Islands, Antigua, St. Barth's, and the Grenadines), transatlantic crossings linking Lisbon and the Azores to the Caribbean, and a Northern Europe season.
Itineraries & pricing
Sample itineraries run from three to four nights, with suite pricing from approximately €16,500 to €28,600 depending on the voyage and category. Sailings are intentionally short and flexible — designed to be combined, extended, or paired with a stay on land.
